Mr. Crawford was born in Bosque County and attended schools in Smith Bend and McCown Valley. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Corsicana.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estelle Crawford; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Saulters of Riesel and Mrs. Beverly Spain of Oklahoma; two sons, Billy G. Crawford of Whitney and Larry Crawford of Riesel; three sisters, Mrs. J.R. Toten of Waco, Mrs. Bill Schoonover of Clifton and Mrs. Ina Cottongame of Corsicana; one brother, Tom Croford of China Spring and six grandchildren.
