Mrs. Kunz, nee Marie Pehl, was born September 27, 1861 in Gillespie County and died after a lingering illness Friday November 27 at 1:30 o'clock in the morning. Having grown to woman hood she on September 11, 1893 united in marriage with William Kunz who preceded her in death on September 22, 1932.
Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Brown, Mrs. Edwin Jung, Mrs. Ernst Lochte and Miss Margaret Kunz, her step-daughters, Mrs. Willie Lott, Mrs. Elmon Stewart, and Mrs. Edward Fritz, 20 grandchildren, 2 great grand children, her brothers, Emil Pehl of Llano, Edward Pehl of Harper, Christian Pehl of Arizona, and Peter Pehl of Austin, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Two sons, Eddie and Bruno Kunz, Two step-daughters, Miss Alma Kunz and Mrs. Lina Lott, three sisters, Mrs. Lina Durbin, Mrs. Martha Jordan and Miss Mathilda Pehl and two brothers John and Joseph Pehl preceded her in death.
