Clem C. Walter of 821 8th Avenue Juniata retired boilermaker and taxidermist died at the Altoona Hospital early today.
Born June 11 1866 at Klahr he was the son of Lorenzo and Katie Walter he was twice married initially to Arabella Divley on Feb 18, 1909 who died April 5, 1939. And then on June 28, 1944 to Emma V. (Wilt) Reed who survives.
Also surviving are seven children Mrs. Mary Graffius of Juniata, Charles Earl of Imler, William K. of New York, C. Paul of Cleveland Ohio, Mrs Sara Wilson of Harrisburg, E. Elwood and Clen C. Jr. both of Calif. Also surviving are sisters Jenny Weyant, and Carrie Dively, a daughter Mrs. Pearl Murphy proceeded him in death.
Mr. Walter retired as a boilermaker Feb. 1, 1949 after 36 1/2 years of service. A graduate of Northwestern School of Taxidermy he practiced the profession for many years.
