She was the youngest of eight known children of Payne Clark and Stacy Glascock, including Nancy Fairall, John Payne Clark, and Manley Clark. The Wrights were their neighbors growing up in Pike Township, Coshocton County, OH; her brother James married her husband's sister Margaret.

In 1820 she and her parents and three brothers lived on a farm in Pike Township, Coshocton County, OH.

In 1830 she and her parents and one brother lived there.

Oddly enough, I have never located her husband William in the 1840 census, but they were certainly living on a farm there in Pike Township, with their growing family.

In 1850 her family was her and William, nine children, plus his mother. Her brother Manley lived next door.

In 1860 there were ten children still at home, plus Alexander's first wife.

In 1870 there were just four children left at home.

In 1880 only their son, Joseph, was still living with them—he was shown as a farm hand. Joseph never married.

other siblings:

Sanford Clark (b.abt.1795,d.bef.1830)
Ellis Clark (b.abt.1797)
Emily Clark (b.abt.1807,d.bef.1820)
James Clark (b.abt.1809,d.1870-1880)
