Darrell John Brown, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Brown, was a metal fabricator working for Aeroswint in Utica. He attended Banner Grade School in rural Trego County and graduated in the class of 1966 at Trego Community High School. Darrell's interests and hobbies included fishing and hunting. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in WaKeeney and served on the Board of Directors for Western Cooperative Electric Association.
He was survived by his mother, three sisters, six nieces and nephews and 3 great-nieces and nephews, as well as a special friend and her two daughters.
The funeral was held at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Donald F. Pfannenstiel officiating.
