~MY ANCESTOR~
The son of RICHARD and ELLEN (APUKE/POOKE) BALDWIN, he was born on lands belonging to the Manor of Dundridge in the parish of Aston Clinton in Buckinghamshire, England. In 1552/3 he was executor of the will of his father, owner of the Manor of Dundridge. It was passed to Henry from his father and from Henry to his son Richard and stayed in the family until 1748 when it was sold by the heir of J.M. Baldwin. Henry Baldwin appears as a defendant in a court case involving a leasehold.
He married Alice King/Kinge/Kingham.Kingym about 1555.
Henry Baldwin of Dundridge, in the parish of Astin Clinton, Bucks, England, made his will 2 Jan. 1599/1600. It was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury July 2, 1602. He was buried in the churchyard at Aston Clinton on June 1, 1602.
He mentions in his will sons, Richard, Sylvester, John & Robert; daughter Agnes; Robert Baldwin "my late servant"; his sister, Lettice Foster; Thomas King; Richard Salter; brother: John Baldwin. Son, Richard, inherited the Manor of Dundridge at Aston Clinton.
