FUNERAL SERVICES HELD
FOR CHAS. WHITE FRIDAY

Funeral services were conducted at the Bumgardner Funeral Home Friday afternoon by Rev. Roy H. Cox for Chas. White of Omaha, Nebr. Mr. White passed away about 4 o'clock Wednesday morning, February 25 [27], at Omaha, following a short illness. Interment was made at Lakeview Cemetery.

Chas. R. White was born at Hainesville, ILL., November 7, 1865, son of E. N. White and Hannah Hamlin, and died in Omaha, Nebr., February 23, 1942.

The deceased was one of a family of six children having two sisters and three brothers of who two are now living, Mr. L. E. White of Estherville and Mrs. H. E. White of Spirit Lake.

In January, 1893 he was married at Spirit Lake, Iowa, to Jessie Brown. To this union three children were born, Chas. White of St. Louis, Mo., Howard White of Lake Park and Gerald White of Spirit Lake. Mrs. White passed away April 13, 1901.

Besides the children and relatives, he leaves to mourn two grandchildren, one having preceded him in death.

Mr. White followed the carpenter trade his entire life and had been working up until about two weeks ago.
