Services for Anna Ash, 78, who died Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the Covent Medical Center, in Waterloo, Iowa.Will be 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Grundy Center, Iowa. Burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.
She was born July 7, 1911 in Reinbeck to Jacob and Hazel (Mennenga) Arends. She was educated in Grundy co.
On Jan. 3 she married John O. Ash in Waterloo.
She was a member of the united Methodist Church.
She was preceded by her husband, a son, and two brothers.
She is survived by a son William Ash, Marshalltown; four daughters Dorothy (Mrs. Donald ) Cooley, Broadhead Wis.,Marjorie (Mrs. Roy) Houtman, Albuquerque, N.M., Jane(Mrs. Dennis) Sealman and Judy (Mrs David) Venenga, both of Grundy Center, three sisters, Marlene Sincock, Flint, Mic. Arlene( Mrs. Darrell) Essen, Grundy Center, and Hilda (Mrs. Ervin) White , Marshalltown. 15 grandchildren and seven great Grandchildren.
