Mrs Lucy B Atkinson died at Plymouth Hospital Saturday April 17 following ten-days' illness. She had been in failing health for the past few years.
She was born August 20, 1870 in Holderness, the daughter of John Sherman and Mary (Page) Bump and attended school in Holderness. She married Ira Atkinson who died as the result of an accident several years ago.
Funeral services were held at the Gammons Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, April 20, with Reverend A B Thompson of the Plymouth Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Blair Cemetery. Bearers were Leonard Durgin, Arnold Rogers, James Bump and Warren Durgin. She is survived by three nephews. >The Plymouth Record, April 22, 1943.
