Walter H. Gannett February 25, 2006
Walter H. Gannett, 77, of Solvay, passed away Saturday at the VA. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, serving with the military police. Walter retired from Crouse- Hinds and was a member of its Quarter Century Club. He was a member of Local 2084 and VFW Post 5540.
He is survived by four sisters, Elanor Butler, Mildred Wood, Beverly Thurlow and Laura Landis, and three brothers, Frank, Fred and William.
Graveside services and burial will be in the spring in Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander, NY . There will be no calling hours.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the SPCA or Humane Assoc.
