Rites For Ben Couch Held In West Texas

Ben Couch of Abilene, former resident of Italy, and father of Mrs. A. W. Couch of Italy, died in Abilene Wednesday, according to a message received here. Funeral services and burial were in Abilene Thursday. Mr. Couch was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pink Couch, early settlers near Italy, and was reared in Italy. His first marriage was Edna DiIworth, daughter pf Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Dilworth. To this union two daughters survive: Mrs. A. W. Couch, Italy. and Mrs. Bernard Griggs, Pasadena, Calif. After the death of this wife Mr. Couch married again is survived by his wife and three children, as follows: R. D Couch, who is now superintendent of the western division of the Greyhound Bus Lines and stationed at Abilene; Olan Couch, Austin, and a daughter, Rowena of Abilene. One brother. John Couch, Itasca, and a sister, Mrs. J. C. Cooper. Milford, also survives.
