He was a member of Broadford Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include; two sons, Randall (Pauline) Logsdon of Texas and Wendell (Carolyn) Logsdon of Leitchfield; four daughters, Jean (Roger) Nichols of Bardwell, Janice (Joe) Hayes of Bee Springs, Judy (Johnny) Haycraft and Jeanell (J.T.) Bradley, both of Leitchfield; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Beatrice Stevenson Logsdon; his parents, Charles Alonzo and Sarah Elizabeth Miller Logsdon; five brothers, three sisters, one great-grandchild and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Chapel in Clarkson with the Rev. Billy Bertram officiating. Burial will be in Bloomington Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until time of service Thursday.
