Funeral for Juanita Goodwyn, 86, of San Augustine will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watson and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Reggie Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Rather Cemetery in Shelby County. Goodwyn died Dec. 24, 2004 in San Augustine. Born July 5, 1918 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of G.C. Eddins and Irene Passmore Eddins. She was a homemaker, and she was affiliated with Patroon Baptist Church. She was married to J.B. Goodwyn, and he precedes her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Kay Goodwyn of Baton Rouge, La.; son, James Goodwyn of Center; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Watson and Sons Funeral Home, Center.
