Mrs. Flora Gilbert Succumbs in West
ONEIDA,—Mrs. Flora Roantree Gilbert, 75, sister of Bruce Roantree of Stockbridge, Harry Roantree of Morrisville, Robert of Oneida Castle and Clarence of Binghamton, died Feb. 18 at her home in Ventura, Calif., after a long illness. She was a former resident of Lenox Furnace, south west of the city. A daughter of the late Charles and Mary Parkhill Roantree, she taught school in this area prior to her marriage to Harry Gilbert. Mrs. Emerson Smith, and LeRoy and Herbert Brewster of Sherrill are cousins.
