Isaac B. Rosenberg was born in Cherry Valley, Otsego Co., New York, March 14, 1855, and with his parents came to Washtenaw co., Mich., about 1865.
Three years later he came to Lowell, and in 1882 he moved to Kalkaska Co. and settled in the township of Excelsior, where he has since resided.
He was married to Amanda Millius 38 years ago. To this union three sons were born, who with eight grandchildren survive him.
In later years he was divorced from his wife and married Mrs. John Bird, of the same township.
The deceased was known as a generous, open hearted man who while he might wrong himself would never knowingly injure a friend or neighbor.
He died on Thursday, July 9, at 4 o'clock, aged 59 years, 3 months and 25 days.
