Donald Ray "Don" Jones, 65, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Shepherd, TX. Don was born on Saturday, December 23, 1944 in Cleveland, TX to the late William Jordan and Margaret Earline Jones. Don was a Petroleum Landman for 30 years and President of D.J. Energycom. He was a kind, well respected Christian man who was known for his gentle spirit and giving heart. Don is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Susan Jones; children, Gregg Jones and wife Wendy and children Kyndal and Buck of Waxhaw, NC, Casey Jones and daughter Dylan of College Station, TX, Jeff Jones and wife Lee and son Luke of Lufkin, TX, Toby Jones and daughter Morgan of Bryan, TX; sisters, Sue Martin and husband Mike of Shepherd, TX and Sharon Johnson of Shepherd, TX; numerous other loving family and friends. Visitation for Don will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 5-9 pm. Service for Don will be held at the First United Pentecostal Church in Shepherd, TX on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Internment to follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, TX. Reverend Ronald Culberth and Reverend Greg Gerald officiating.
