Janice was the daughter of Roscoe Beasley Sr and Emily Howard Beasley. She educated in the Bibb County School System and was a graduate of Central High School in Macon, Georgia. She was a graduate of Crandall Business College. She was a self employed Medical Transcriber. Her first love was singing. She was the lead female singer for the Hollywood Band of Macon, Georgia until her passing.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Roscoe Beasley Jr.
