Together with husband William T. Morgan, Viola parented a family of nine children. These children of two sons and seven daughters became upright citizens and hard workers. A lasting work ethic and interest in education followed the descendants down through the generations. William and Viola would be proud of the many contributions their descendants have made within their areas of influence in this world. Some stayed in the Marshville NC area; many spread out across North Carolina and the US. One grandson built a library in Marshville dedicated to the memory of their youngest daughter, Lois. Others did less visible things, but made a difference in their own unique ways. Viola and William exemplify the best in the meaning of heritage.
