Tuesday, August 17, 2021, after a long life in his 97th year. Born in Wellesley Township on
June 27, 1924, he was the son of the late William Quehl and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Quehl.
Predeceased by his wife Eileen Anna (Hammer) Quehl and brother Howard Quehl.
Norbert is survived by his daughters Shirley Quehl of Waterloo and Elaine Quehl (Peter
Au) of Ottawa, Ontario. Norbert farmed in Wellesley Township most of his life, until retiring
to the village of Wellesley in 1978. Special thanks to the compassionate care staff at
Pinehaven Nursing Home during the past six years. Cremation through the FurtherFranklin Funeral Home, Wellesley, followed by private interment at St. Mark's Lutheran
Cemetery, Wellesley. Due to the current Covid situation there will be no funeral.
