Musician/Singer. Ruby Starr, the stage name for Constance Mierzwiak, was one of the finest rock and roll singers of the 1970s and 80s. Her biggest hit was as a member of Black Oak Arkansas, "Jim Dandy". In the late 1970s and early 80s she headed the band "Grey Star" which was one of the top bands in the midwest, especially in the Milwaukee area.
