Funeral services for W. G. Stafford, 65, of Hazel Green, who died Monday (June 26, 1989) in the Huntsville Hospital, were conducted Wednesday in the chapel of Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green, Ala.
The Rev. Charles Jones officiated and burial followed in the Charity Cemetery in Madison Co, Ala.
A native of Madison Co, Ala., he was the son of the late George Oliver and Clara Bell Hames Stafford, a retired Civil Service Inspector and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survived by his wife, Joline Crabtree Stafford of Hazel Green; a sister, Flossie Lincoln of Taft; three brothers, George Arfie Stafford and Melvin Harold Stafford of Taft and Charles Elmer Stafford of Hazel Green.
