Funeral services for J. W. (Bill) Sessions, age 84, of Wells were scheduled for 3 pm thursday in the Falvey Memorial Methodist Church, with Rev. Walter Clark officiating and interment in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Sessions died early Wednesday morning at his residence at Wells after a long illness. He was born July 5, 1879, in Smith County. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Falvey Memorial Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bell Lee Sessions of Wells; two sons, Hugh Sessions of Wells and Clyde Dean Sessions of Arlington; step-daughter, Mrs. W. T. Fenton of Lufkin; brother, Rube Sessions of Wells; sisters, Mrs. Wyatt Beasley of Wells, Mrs. John Wilson of Pollok and Mrs. Mae Cherry of Alto; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
