Ruth D. Malone, 90, of Menno-Haven and formerly of 277 E. Washington St., died at 5:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 1991, in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born May 26, 1901, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry N. and Mary Jane White Deardorff.
She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God for more than 55 years, and was a member of its adult Sunday school class.
A 1918 graduate of Chambersburg High School, she was employed more than 30 years at the former Stanley Co., retiring in February 1964.
Her husband, Elliott D. Malone, died in February 1963.
Surviving are two sons, Lester E. of 510 High St., and John D. of 151 Amsley Drive; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
