Mable H. Gore, 88, of Pecan Lane, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Loris Hospital.
Mrs. Gore was born in Conway, a daughter of the late William Berry Hardee and Mattie C. Cartrette Hardee. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Gore was previously employed at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and Edge Manufacturing. She retired from Hickory Grove Baptist Church Daycare. Mrs. Gore was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy H. Johnson and Lloyd Gore; and a son-in-law, James Stevens.
Surviving are a daughter, ...; a brother, ...; two sisters, ...; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbin King officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the funeral home.
