Edward Lynn Adams, 66, of Hempstead, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009. He was born in Bremerton, Washington on March 5, 1943 to Donald Eugene Adams and Darlene Shoemaker Adams. Edward attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas until February of 1966 when he entered the Air Force. Edward was in continuous active duty from March, 25th, 1966 to January 6th, 1970. Edward was a computer programmer for BMC Software, from which he retired. Survivors: Edward is survived by wife Mary Adams. His daughter Clair Taylor and husband Ziad El-Abed. Brother Robert Day and sisters, Betty Keener and husband Patrick, Violet Kreznek and husband Kenny, Donna Jean Beneke and husband Alfred and Roberta Nech.
A memorial service will be held on January 21st, 2010 at McWilliams Funeral Home. Entombment will be on January 22nd, 2010 at Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors. All services and arrangements under the direction of McWilliams Funeral Home, Hempstead, Texas.
