Services for Mr. Ernest Baxley, Jr., 70, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston with visitation from one until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Williston Cemetery.
Mr. Baxley died Saturday. Born in Barnwell County, he was a son of the late William Ernest Baxley and Mozelle Croft Baxley. He was a self-employed painter, member of Mount Lebanon Christian Church, and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include wife, Ella Mae Piagler Sanders Baxley; daughters, Margaret Chavis, Rose Cochran, Linda Herring, Lois Baxley, Brenda Sanders, Pamela Cordray, Carey Duc, Teresa DuBois; sons, Harold Baxley, Heyward Carrigg, Jack Sanders, Larry Sanders, Billy Sanders; sister, Mary Elizabeth Hartzog; thirty-one grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
