Ada W. Steller, 73, of Notus, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 1990, at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday Jan. 15 at the Caldwell L.D.S. Stake Center, 3015 S. Kimball Ave, Caldwell. Bishop Galan M. Rogers of the Caldwell Fourth Ward, L.D.S. Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Stettler was born, March 8, 1916, at Washburn, Mo., a daughter of Arthur and Lola Sisemore Weathers. Her family moved to Ogden, Utah, when she was 1-year old.
She married Albert B. Stettler at the Logan L.D.S. Temple July 17, 1935. They made their home in Roy, Utah, where all of their four daughters were born. In 1946 they purchased a farm in Notus, Idaho and worked together in making it one of the best Grade-A dairies in the valley.
She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church and held numerous positions of leadership, including serving with her husband in the Boise Temple for the past five years. Her grandson, Brock Callister, is currently serving a mission in Lisbon, Portugal.
Survivors include her husband, Albert; four daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Bill Reese of Boise, Janice and Morris Brock of Twin Falls, Marvel and Wayne Callister of Meridian and Annette and Randy Hansen of Twin Falls; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ron of Ogden, Utah, Lewis of Riverside, Calif., William of El Dorado Hills, Calif. and Darrell of Las Gatos, Calif.; three sisters, Dorothy Levendofski, Joan Oliver and Jean Rowe, all of Roy, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter and a son-in-law, Vernon Tanner.
Friends may call at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, today from 4 to 6 p.m. and at the Caldwell Stake Center Relief Society Room from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
