Fredericka Anderson, 56, passed away Friday, July 30, 1920, in Stockton.

Funeral services were held at the Anderson home. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.

Fredericka Bierkamp was born September 9, 1863, in Hanover, Germany, the daughter of August and Johanna (Dietrich) Bierkamp. She immigrated to the United States to Muscatine County, Iowa. She married Hans Christian Anderson on August 4, 1882. They were the parents of six children. They bought a blacksmith shop in Stockton and later a general repair and wagon shop. She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Surviving are her husband, Hans; three sons, Christian Anderson of Stockton, August Anderson of Des Moines and Walter Anderson; two daughters, Minnie (Herman) Buck and Hilda (Gustave) Jost, both of Durant; three grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie Fitzer of Hartley and Augusta (Henry) Brant of Reinbeck; and three, George Bierkamp of Reinbeck, August (Minnie) Bierkamp of Sunbury and John (Celia) Bierkamp of Durant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Harry Anderson, one sister, Christina Bierkamp and one brother-in-law, Henry Fitzer.
