Mrs. Maude Price Passed At Her Home Wed.
Mrs. Maude Price passed away at her home last Wednesday evening at 11 o'clock after a week's illness. Mrs. Price has been in poor health for some time past but her condition was not considered serious until about a week ago.

Mrs. Price was born in Guthrie county on Oct. 2, 1870 and resided there her early life. After her marriage to George Price who preceded her in death the family moved to a farm near Superior. Twenty-two years ago they moved to Estherville where she has resided since that time.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Reich, with whom she had been making her home.

The funeral services will be held on Saturday from the home at 1:30 and from the Methodist church at two o'clock. The Rev. F. W. Ortmeyer officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, October 26, 1939)

Mrs. Maude Price, 69, died at the home of her only child, Mrs. Wm. Reich on North Sixth, at 11 p.m. last night. Mrs. Price, a long time resident of the Superior community and Estherville had been ailing for some time. Her condition has been critical for 5 days.

Mr. Price passed away about 20 years ago.

Funeral services will be held Saturday and interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery.

Although Mrs. Price had devoted her life to her duties as a home maker and mother she still found time to be a good neighbor and friend. Always interested in community affairs, she took an active part in group affairs and was a sincere and helpful friend to many. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, October 26, 1939)
