Gilberto, a lifelong resident of Dixon, passed away at the family home. He was predeceased by his parents Leonardo and Victoriana Martinez.
Gilberto was survived by his wife Adela Martinez; a son Gilbert L. of Dixon; two daughters: Marcella Trujillo and Rose Herrera of Dixon; a brother Manuel Martinez of Albuquerque; four sisters: Emilia Maes, Annie Martinez, Mabel Martinez, and Juanita Gonzales, all of Dixon; four grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Funeral services were held 22 Oct 1983 at St. Anthony's Church in Dixon. Burial followed at the Dixon Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
