Jean was born in Tacoma, Washington where she lived a short time with parents and brother and sisters. The family moved to Michigan where they spent several years. They then moved back to Washington where she graduated from Mount Rainier High school in 1966.
Jean lived in Seattle with her parents Irene and Eugene Fisher along with sisters Roberta and Joan (Twin) and brothers, George Vossen, Mike and Eugene Fisher Jr.
Jean started working at the Gov. Mart store in Seattle Washington, where she worked for several years. Jean loved to take pictures. Later moving to Nashville, Tennessee, Jean drove tour bus and there she could continue her love for taking photos. Her collection of photos were of Barbara Fairchild, Mary Chapin Carpenter and many others. Truly there are too many to name. She always would have a booth at Fan Fair each year.
On February 27, 1982 Jean married William C. Wells in Nashville, Tennessee. Jean and Bill had a farm where they lived and worked most of there spare time. Later Jean and her husband moved to Taft Caifornia where Bill worked in the oil fields for several years. Jean being a country girl
talked her husband to move back to Nashville, Tennessee where they both took jobs. Jean worked for Office Max for eleven years in retail, where she became disabled with a rare muscle disorder.
Jean moved to Louisburg, North Carolina where she received treatment for this painful disorder. Even then she still kept up her love of taking photos, only instead of Nashvile country stars it shifted to the kittens she took in and gave the love and care they needed. She also followed one other hobby she loved working long hours on her family genealogy.
