Douglas George Keillor of Kincardine died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, on Tuesday, July 22, 2003. He was 64. Beloved husband of Mildred (Merritt) and cherished son of Ken and Jean Keillor. dear brother of Wayne (Marilyn) Keillor of Olds, Alberta, and Wendy (Al) Badley of Invermere B.C. Fondly remembered and never forgotten by daughters Kelly of Belmont and Becky of Dorchester. Loving step-father of Dennis (Carol) Pierson of Kincardine and Dianne (Mike) Flynn of RR2, Tiverton. Forever in the hearts of step-grandchildren, Michelle (Lorin) Myers of Southampton and Mike (Peggy Keel) Pierson of Kincardine, and step-great-grandchildren, Derek and Branden.
A memorial sevice, celebrating Doug's life, was held on Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home with Pastor Judy Zarubick officiating. Branden Myers and Wayne Keillor shared memories at the celebration. "Amazing Grace" was sung by all, and "Too Old to Die Youing," a favorite of Doug's, was sung by Grace Bender of Listowel. Cremation with interment in Kincardine Cemetery. Donations in Doug's memory may be made to the Kincardine Community Medical Clinic, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
