IN MEMORIUM
HALL OF KIRKSVILLE LODGE,
No. 105. A.F. & A.M.
Feb. 20th, 1874, A.L. 5,874.
Whereas, The will of God has been accomplished in the death of our much loved brother, Morris A. Lane, on Wednesday 18th inst., therefore be it resolved,
That while we deeply regret the death of one who was bound to us by the mystic tie, and a common sympathy that unites us together as a brotherhood, we cannot in our grief at the loss we sustain, forget that there are others bound to him by nearer and closer ties, and to the relatives of our deceased brother we extens our sincere sympathy and regards.
Resolved, That Bro. M.A. Lane in all the relations of life, whether as a Christian, neighbor, friend or citizen, illustrated and exemplified a true and noble manhood, while honoring the principles of the Order he loved.
Resolved, That as a testimonial of respect, the members of this Lodge wear the usual badge of mourning for the period of 30 days, and that a copy of these resolutions be given to the friends of the deceased, and the Kirksville papers be requested to publish the same.
