Mrs. Fredonia Alice Dockery, 77, died at her home in Hawley at 12:12 o'clock Monday morning after an illness of three weeks' duration. Her condition had been critical for several days. Funeral was to be held at 3:30 this afternoon at the graveside in Hawley with the Rev. A. T. Mason, Hawley Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial was to follow beside her husband who died in 1907. Elliott funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dockery was born December 9, 1861, in Milam County. Before her marriage she was Fredonia Alice Wheeler. She and her husband came to Hawley 35 years ago and she had resided there since. She was a member of the Universality church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. R. G. Ladd and Mrs. Samuel Jones, both of California; four sons, J. E. of California, L. A. of Milwaukee, Wis., J. L. and L. R. of Hawley; one sister, Mrs. Noah Smithson of Vernon; and three brothers, Jerry Wheeler of Abilene, John and B. F. of Carrizo Springs, Texas.

Active pall bearers selected for the funeral were Horace Johnson, Bill Zant, Oscar Gilbreath, Claud Lewis, Raymond Blackwell and Charlie Shannon, all of Hawley.
