Earl Ralph Bilbrey Affectionately known to his family as Ralph, passed away Friday evening at Saint Francis Hospital at the age of 79.

Born February 28, 1927 in San Buenaventura, California to Sebert J. and Nola Vera Bilbrey, Ralph spent the early part of his life in Tennessee where both of his parents were born.

After marrying Martha Lillian Lankford, he moved north and eventually settled in the Indianapolis area, where he had a long career with Chrysler Motors as an electrician but also worked for ACR appliances as a technician.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jo Kitzmiller and her husband Greg of Bloomington, and Terrie Wilhelm and her husband Mark of Indianapolis; four grandchildren and their spouses; and seven great grandchildren.

He was beloved by his entire family and extended family as a kind and compassionate man.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his brothers, Talph and Kenneth Bilbrey, both of Nashville, Tennessee.
