Christ Christians was born to Klass and Gretje Christians January 2,1889. His parents where German farmers who came to America in 1884. Christ was their second son and learned the hard work ethics of farming from his parents. He learned
to speak German as a child. Going to school when was of age
he had to learn to speak English which was hard for him. When he finished school as a young man he bought a half section of farm land for his own use when left home. In September 1917 he married Stella Mae Parker as his bride
making the farm he bought their home. They had nine children
to their family. Sadly a baby girl was stillborn at birth.They also lost a son Roy age 9 who was thrown from a pony and a daughter Laura age 18 who died of Staph infecion
which at that time there was no antibiotics at that time to save her. Christ & Stella where married 52 years. Their farm
is still in their family owned by their son Clarence
