ROBERT DENTON LYBOLT I Glen Spey, N.Y. Robert Denton Lybolt I, a retired truck driver for ProVan and Dairymen's League, died surrounded by loved ones February 4, 2004 at his home. He was 79. The son of Edward and Osamae Denton Lybolt, he was born May 10, 1924 in Howells. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart serving with the Army Air Corps during World War II; was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 4947, Wurtsboro; The Phoenix Engine Company #4, Middletown; a member Teamster Local 445 and the United Church of Christ at New Vernon. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Mildred Horton Lybolt at home; 10 children Bonnie Culhane and her husband Doug of Newburgh, Robert Lybolt II and his wife Cindy of Midletown, Ronald Lybolt and his wife Mary of Glen Spey, Connie McGuire and her husband Daniel of Otisville, Richard Lybolt and his wife Mary of Glen Spey, Barbara Lybolt at home, Jane Meckle and her husband Trevor of Narrowsburg, Rocky Ford of Middletown, Betty Fiore and her husband Doug of Arizona and Guy Ford and his wife Cheryl of Florida; son-in-law Harold Daktar of Middletown; 33 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Donna Daktar. Cremation will be at the convenience of the family followed by graveside services in the Spring. Donations may be made to United Church of Christ at New Vernon, Howells, NY. Arrangements are under the supervision of Louis W. Morse: Morse Funeral Home Inc., Middletown, NY.
