Funeral services for Judy Ann Way, 66, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.
Judy was a loving wife, mom and granny to her family for many years. She was a founding member and devoted Queen of the Red Hat Hooten Nanny's and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Harold "Butch" Way, of Clarksville; daughters, Tammy Wright and her husband, Terry, of Clarksville, Leslie Hamilton and her husband, Jeff, of Sellersburg, and Jennifer Glenn, of Jeffersonville; granddaughters, Meaghan Glenn, Lauren Hamilton, Mollie Hamilton, Bailey Glenn, Olivia Kemp and Ella Wright; and great-grandson, Tyler Bach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Cletus Blanton; and her siblings, Vernon and Virgil Blanton.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 9 a.m. Friday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Lung Association for those with COPD. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
