She was married to Henry Lynza Goldsmith in 1900 or 1901 at Holton and the young couple shortly moved to what then was Oklahoma Territory and settled on a farm near Chicksha in Grady County. Thus the daughter of Kansas pioneers became an Oklahoma pioneer.
To this union were born six children: Thelma, Evangeline, Margaret, Viola, Joe and LaRue.
