Grovetown, GA – Phyllis Bowen Autry, 54, wife of Paul Autry, of Old Louisville Road, entered into rest Saturday, November 20, 2010, from the result of an auto accident.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Billy Turner officiating.
Interment followed in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Autry was born at Fort Gordon Hospital and was a homemaker. She had served in the US Navy.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Julian & Mertie Lee James, and William F. & Bertha Mae Bowen.
Additional survivors include her parents, Elmer and Doris James Bowen, of Augusta; her daughters, Cheri Bowen Anderson and her husband, Zach, of Augusta, Michele Arroyo of Washington, and Lauren Lee of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren, Keith Doss, Trey Doss, Lane Anderson and Luke Anderson; her sister, Michele Bowen Simonsen and her husband David, of Tallahassee, FL, and several aunts and uncles.
