Irene Chamberlain
NIAGARA—Irene D. Chamberlain, 69, of 1716 of Ridge St., Niagara, died Sunday at her home.

Mrs. Chamberlain was born May 25, 1921, in Niagara. She lived in the area for most of her life.

She married Fred Chamberlain on Aug. 10, 1940.

Mrs. Chamberlain was employed by the Perfex Corporation plant in Kingsford, Dickinson County Memorial Hospital and the Hotpoint Company of Milwaukee, retiring in 1977.

Mrs. Chamberlain was also a volunteer at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iron Mountain.

She leaves her husband, Fred; three daughters, Sharon Street of Nashville, Tenn., Karon Witkowski of Heartland, Wis., and Pamela LaJoye of Marquette; three sons, Dennis and Joseph Chamberlain of Mesa, Ariz., and Lester Chamberlain of Kingsford; two sisters, Delores Ploanzi of Morton Grove, Ill., and Joyce Ratajczyk of Clintonville, Wis.; a brother, Lester Berger of Iron Mountain, and 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitiation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Tondin-Leathers Funeral Home of Niagara.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tondin-Leathers Funeral Home. Fr. Patrick Bernardy will officiate.

Burial will be in Norway Township Cemetery.
