A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Old Presbyterian Church, Bennington, for Judy Hampton, 59, Bokchito, who died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Rev. Terry Holladay and Rev. Roy Barcheers will officiate.

She was born Friday, Feb. 2, 1945, in Bennington to Lewis Virgil Hampton and Mary Mae (Dodd). She was a homemaker most of her life, but worked as a manager of Love's Store in the 1980s and had worked for Johnson & Johnson. She also received her beauticians license in Hugo.

She loved reading, cooking, singing at church, taking care of her grandkids and getting together with family. She was a member of the County Line Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Terry Dale Rose; and brother J.W. Hampton.

She is survived by sons Ed Rose and wife Linda, Bokchito, and Mike Rose and wife Gennifer; brothers Kenneth Hampton and wife Ruth, Gene Hampton and wife Brenda, Lewis Hampton Jr. "Turp" and wife Mary Lou, and Bobby Hampton and wife Felicia; sisters Linda McWilliams and husband Tommy, and Naomi Edwards; granddaughters Tesia Rose, Jessica Rose and Ali Rose; grandson Ian Rose; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be at Old Church Cemetery, Bennington, with pallbearers Tommy McWilliams, Mike Andrews, Stuart McWilliams, David Gardner, Kenneth Hampton and Zane Hampton.
