Cathy Jean Barton, 57, of Mineral Springs, died Monday, November 22, 2010, at a Hot Springs hospital. She was born September 4, 1953, in Magnolia, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John Black and Ann Fick.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Mineral Springs City Council and Mineral Springs Park Commission.

Mrs. Barton was preceded in death her husband, Charles Barton and one daughter, Amy Barton.

She is survived by one daughter, Michelle Barton of Mineral Springs, AR; mother-in-law, Gladys Barton of Mineral Springs, AR; one grandchild, Kalem Barton of Mineral Springs, AR; and a host of friends.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 26, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tim Freel officiating, burial in Mineral Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, November 24, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
