Violet B. Neese, 82, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Regency Place at Greenwood. She was a resident of Greenwood and a former resident of Indianapolis. She was born September 11, 1928 in Meridosa, IL. Her parents were David Perry and Hazel M. (Floyd) Six. She married Earl Eugene Neese on July 2, 1946. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Michael Neese; two daughters, Marie Dubbeld and Joyce Buis; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Perry and Hazel M. (Floyd) Six; her husband, Earl Eugene Neese; a son, David Neese; a brother; and five sisters.

She was employed by Best Lock Co. for 2 years and operated a daycare for 20 years. She was a member of Weslyan Holiness Church, Indianapolis, where her husband pastored for 8 years.

The Rev. J.D. Bailey will conduct a funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2010 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
