July 12, 1984 Member Of Union Valley Dies At 69 A member of Union Valley Baptist Church,
Mrs. Christine Duncan, 69, Died Monday at Oak Ridge Hospital of apparent heart failure.
Mrs. Duncan enjoyed fishing.
She is survived by her husband, George Duncan, four sons, Clarence and George Jr, both of Clinton Rt.5, Don Duncan of Oliver Springs, and Jimmy Duncan of Clinton, three daughters, Lousie Hickey, Mrs.George (Ruby Ann) Comer, and Mrs. Harvey (Katie) Bass, all of Oliver Springs,19 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three sisters, Melvina Whitton of Knoxville, Lillie Ashcrafts of Etowah, and Minnie Brandt of Madison, Ohio,and a special friend, Clara Ward of Oliver Springs.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Union Valley Baptist Church with the Rev.Hoye Bunch officiating.
Burial was in Butler Cemetery.
