DIED - On Saturday, 22 ult., at Pleasant Hill, Oglethorpe County, GA., at the residence of her father, Z. H. Clark, Esq., Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Johnson, wife of Elijah W Johnson on the 18th year of her age.
She was a lady of cultivated mind and strong intellect, refined manners and taste, affectionate in her disposition, warm and devoted in her friendship, so much so as to be beloved by all who knew her. Her loss is deeply felt by her husband, parents, relatives and friends. They will reflect on the virtues which adorned her character, and it will afford consolation in their grief to know that she left an assurance that her spirit would be at rest with her God.
