Rebecca Jane Holley of Lubbock departed this life on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the age of 44. She was born December 3, 1965 in Spur, Texas to Johnny and Shirley (Fitzgerald) Scott. Rebecca lived in Ralls, Texas most of her life. The family moved to Slaton, Texas her junior year of high school, where she then graduated. She continued her education at Angelo State before moving and graduating from University of North Texas in 1988. Rebecca married Doug Holley June 25, 1988 in Spur, Texas. He joined the military and they traveled together until making their home in Lubbock. She was a loving wife and mother who always placed her family first.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Doug; two sons, Zachary and Nicholas; her parents, Johnny and Shirley; one brother, Chris, all of Lubbock; and her paternal grandmother, Jo Scott of Roaring Springs; as well as many other family members dear to her heart.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel in Lubbock. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
