MRS. G. W. RUSSELL.
The final summons for Mrs. G. W. Russell came Sunday night at 11 o'clock, Sept. 24, 1911, when she was gathered to her eternal rest in the home above. She was a daughter of Mr. A. J. Renshaw of Boscobel and was born near Platteville June 18, 1853, reaching the age of 58 years, 3 months and 6 days. She joined the M. E. church of Fennimore in 1898 and has lived an upright Christian life. She has been in failing health for the last six years. Two years ago she suffered a severe paralytic stroke and has been a helpless invalid ever since, but so patient in all of her suffering , always a kind word and a smile for everyone. She was a faithful member of the W. R. C. and a good friend and neighbor, always ready to help those in time of need.
She was married to Eli J. Altizer in 1875 to whom were born three children, two boys and one girl, the little boys dying in infancy.
On Dec. 3,1892 she was married to G. W. Russell of Fennimore at Stitzer. She leaves to mourn her loss the husband, mother, and daughier, Mrs. W. W.
