Bessie Tresnak Pruss born Oct. 31, 1901 to Anton F. Tresnak (1869- 1935) and
Anna Havelka ( 9-17-1956) On June 24, 1919, she married Anton B. Pruss.
They were parents of ten children' Albert Jr. (1-24-1921),
married to Selma Kapenka, Francis(10-15-1922); James (9-28-1924) married to
Marilyn Minarik; Emil(7-14-1926); Edward (3-23- d. 1972)married Beatrice
Kottman; Richard(2-1-30) married Doris Steffensmeier; Leonard (11-8- 1931)
married Bernice Piper; Theodore (8-15-1935); Eugene (1934/1937) and
Rodney(6-11-1941) who was ordained on June 5, 1949.
Albert & Bessie Pruss lived in the vicinity of Snyder for a short time when
they lived with Anton Pruss, Jr. and wife, Anna on a farm 3 1/4 miles south
and 1 mile west of Snyder. Albert and Anton, Jr. will be remembered for the
entertainment they provided at social gatherings throughout the area.
Albert and Bessie lived many years ten miles south of Dodge, and three years
in North Bend, five years in Shelby, NE onto Fremont, NE until Albert's
