David Reid Kerr, 52, Former proprietor of a seafood market here (Battle Creek), died at 6 p.m. Sunday in Ironton, where he had lived the last three years. He had been ill for a year. After operating his own market, he worked for a time for the R. Binder Co. He was a member of a Masonic Lodge and the local F.O.E. lodge. Surviving are his widow, Isabella; two sons, James of Grand Rapids and David of 12 Champion; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James (Jemima)Kerr, Sr., of 146 Meachem Avenue; a sister, Mrs. Anna (Everett) Dehn of 123 Wentworth Avenue; three brothers, James of 335 1/2 East Michigan Avenue, William of 135 North Division and Thomas R. of 43 1/2 Beach Court.

David and Isabella arrived in the United States aboard the SS Cameronia on April 27, 1913.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Farley Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
